I have just bought the Mini below in the Pictures and im not to sure which model exactly it is... could do with some help on this one..

The mini was registered in Jan 2007 but has a 56 plate.. does that mean its a 2006 or 2007 model?

is it and R56? what does that mean?

its had a body kit and chrome finishings added but what are those packs called?

All I know at the moment is that it is a Mini cooper s with works package...

any help on detailing this model from the pictures would be most appreciated! :)

Also any idea how to switch those fog lights on on the front, the front fog light switch only switches the bottom light on and off.....

it's not got the tuning kit,the exhaust tips are the standard cooper s tips not the tuning kit exhaust tips.

I didn't catch that ... just saw the grille and boot badges :o

unless someones changed the tips back to standard,can't see why though..

to the op if you look on top of the engine there will be a plate that says tuning kit number if it has one fitted..

Yeh I think it's just the normal engine, there's no badge under the bonnet.

A silly question now, is this model supercharged or turbocharged?

Is the body kit a standard option or would it be a specialist that puts it on after so it's classed as a modification....? Are the chrome features an optional extra as well or just standard...? :confused:

Turbocharged, definitely turbocharged! The bodykit is a factory option and shouldn't be classed as a modification, though always tell the insurance company anyway :rolleyes:

i thought the body kit was dealer fit just like the tuning kit,and the only mini which was factory fit aero kit was the JCW Works..
