I had a disaster this morning, Sat Nav fell off the window and I had to reach into the footwell to rescue it. In the process of doing this I wandered over to the left and managed to rub my front passenger wheel along the kerb :aargh:

When I stoped I checked and I have rubbed the very rim and this has scratched and scuffed, it's not as bad as I thought it would be but it is bad enough

What do I need to do - I have 17" R98's - the edges are rough and it has gone almost round the whole circumference. I am so gutted in all the cars that I have had with alloys I have never done this. :angry:

Why don't you try one of the many wheel refurbish companies
that are on the internet.
Many are mobile and can come to your place of work too.
should not be a problem to get it repaired. :D

Thanks spikeyadrian - I shall get Google-ing tonight. Didn't know if I needed to paint some "Varnish" or something on it in the meantime before I manage to get it done.
