Hi. My belt started to shred on my 06 cooper s the other day. So i figure now is the time to upgrade to a 15% reduction pulley, shorter belt, cooler plugs and a K&N pannel filter. The only concern i have is where to take the car to have the work done as i understand you can damage the supercharger removing the origional pulley unless you use the correct tool. Can anyone recomend a garage in my area that has the tool and will do a good job? It has to be local as the belt is due to fail so i cant drive the car very far. Failing that i can happily do the work myself if i could get hold of a pulley tool. Id rather not spend £175 on a tool i will probably never use again.
