I am looking for a Mini Cooper S rear bumper in yellow for an 02 reg mini, due to someone reversing into me with a tow bar and it cracking the bumper. It has caught the edge of the bumper just above the left wheel arch on the back bumper (as you look at the car from the back).
I was told I could get it repaired but a lot of body shop guys would be too lazy to do it as it right on the edge of the bumper, the guy in the body shop said it wouldn't be strong enough if he did repair it? I don't know anything about this so not sure if he is telling the truth or if he is just being lazy like my friend advised…
He has said a new bumper would be about £400-£500. However I have since been told Yellow Cooper S are quite rare so getting a second hand bumper isn't going to happen. Can anyone help?
Am i better off getting any bumper and getting it resprayed or can I get a primer bumper and get that resprayed? Or do you know anywhere that I could get a second hand bumper?
