Hi all,

I have an '04 Mini Cooper. I belive I need discs and pads all round, definitely on the front so have decided to get em all done.

From my usual performance workshop I had a quote of £350 which went up to £501 after I handed over my reg and waited for a call back. These guys are aware that expense is hardly spared when involving my cars.

I was ready to just do it but called another local outfit who are of similar local prestige. They came back with £354.60p Both quoted for genuine BMW/Mini parts all round including sensors.

What should I be paying? I would like to be paying the latter but I want to make sure I'm getting what i ask for, i.e. genuine parts on the car and have them done properly.

I've used both outfits before for several German motors and have been happy with their service.

I can provide URLs for both garages if this helps.

Thanks and thanks ofr all the posts and info on here.

Not a frequent user but always comes up trumps for me.
Ta.

Based on info from BMW, parts should cost £186.09 then labour is roughly £158. So About £350 sounds fine to me.

No problem.

Service & Costs analysis is what i do for my job, so if anyone has any questions i can try and help.

Not just Minis, any car pretty much.
