Iv had my mini for a while now and it's always had a really hard clutch witch iv heard is normal. But wouldn't no if it's over normal as iv never driven a other mini. When the engine gets hot sometimes I find it really hard to get into all gears I turned it off when parked up had a drink in the pub then it was fine.
Another thing is I can't help it but sometimes bite the clutch at times like when changes gears.
New clutch??? Or worrying too much

My JCW is due to go in for a new clutch in the next few weeks after some diagnosis during it's last service.

Symtoms are:

1. Heavy clutch pedal.
2. Knocking / Rattle noise when idling which disappears when the clutch is depressed.
