i av recently got a mini coopr s on 2003 plate it has the temp gauge but i cant get the avrage mpg on or any other thngs from the trip computer is there a special stalk lik on the golf gti,s or does the car come with all this

if your left indicator stalk has a little button at the back u can access the onboard computer using this button and it displays where the temp is shown!, if like my car u don't have the button I think u can purchase it from your main dealer although I am not sure of the cost! I haven't bothered yet but it is annoying having an onboard computer that u can't access! hope this info helps!

There is a retrofit kit for the on-board computer (pn 62130029492 (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=62130029492&showus=on&showeur=on)). Fitting requires 2 hours according to Official Retrofit Instructions (http://www.outmotoring.com/images/how_to/MIN_OBC_gen1.PDF) and includes activation by dealer.
