I got my flag taken off my mini yesterday and they tock a chunk about 2cm by 1cm off the roof when they were taking it off. It had to come off as it was
Looking Narsty as it was old and off colouring. What can I get for the paint work don't want it to rust and to take the bluntness off it.

I don't think there is much you can do paint wise? unless getting it done by a pro.

With regards to the rust , i assume you have just taken the top layer off? if so then this will not rust , people get dings and bangs all the time at supermarkets for example when someone opens their door onto your car :angry: this normally can take off the top layer of paint , you will be fine unless it actually goes to the metal , this will then need attention as it WILL eventually rust.

You could get another wrap done :)

Put a bit of touch up on the scratch and then apply a new flag/decal?
Theres some nice ones around you can get.
Or just have the roof covered in a plain coloured vinyl?

Yeah it is at the metal so needs attention.
If I use touch up paint will it be sealed enough. I was wanting to put on a funky rape but not much Luck finding any, just the normal ones iv seen. Any websites if known will be appreciated.

As its quite wet in the UK at the mo' you could buy a can of primer untill you get it done, this will stop it rusting.......

If the paints come off right to the metal then you need to apply a primer coat first then some top coat to seal it, otherwise the top coat wont stick very well.
Just google "MINI roof decals" and you will find lots of designs you can get.

Problem is primer is porous and absorbs water, wouldnt help for very long!
Best to put some waxoyl on it if you cant do the paint yet.

Got the bank holiday now so won't be able to get Anything until Tuesday. Hopefully it'll be okay till then.
I'll see how the touch up paint looks and maybe get another sticker
