I have a 2003 mini cooper s and recently it has developed a knocking sound from the rear left.
It seems to be related to the wheel as it knocks quicker as the wheel turns faster etc.
It goes away if you squeeze the handbrake slightly when driving.
I've had a search and seem that they have problems with rear bushes but doesn't knock louder at all on bumpy roads. Just stays the same with the speed of the wheel.
Surely a wheel bearing wouldn't knock??
Any ideas would be most appreciated
Thanks in advance.
