Just wondering, If I unplug the break pad wear sensor and reset the computer, will this eliminate the warning light.
I only ask as my rear pads are showing low with the light, but I still have around half the pad left.

Cheers

You can reset the light by turning the ignition to position 2 and keeping it there for about 30 seconds. The light will then go off. Then you can start the car.

After replacing the front pads I was able to get the sensor light to go off using the tip above, but when I drove the car it came back on again. So I then replaced the rear pads as well.

I have not reconnected the pad sensors. The front sensor was damaged when removing it.

I now cannot get the sensor light to go out at all. I've cable tied both sensors so they aren't left dragging around...any ideas on this?
Can I unplug the sensors from the wiring completely, or is the system expecting to see some level of resistance from them?

on some you need to link the wires out!

id personally look at fixing then though, or next time they wear out you may trash the disks too
