Hi, where can I get a DVD player to upgrade my sat nav system? I can't seem to find any information anywhere. I've looked under the drivers seat and the DVD player is missing!!
I have a 54 plate cooper convertible, can anyone please help?

so it has the sat nav in the center but the screen is blank?
and its because someone removed the dvd player under the drivers seat?
check eBay , get a MK3 for like £100 and a MK4 (better) for around £250
make sure you disconnect the battery before removing the seat as you need to unplug the pre tensioner wiring and it will set a light up on the dash if the battery is still connected... which will need be reset by bmw lol

Hi, The satnav works but is out of date with roads etc....

I have looked under the seat and there is only what looks like a metal plate/box (def not a CD player) behind the plastic removeable protection tab, and no CD/DVD player. So I guess someone has removed it or it was never installed

thanks for the battery tip & your information is helpful however ebay seems to draw a blank so I may have to go to bmw/mini for a quote.

Unless someone else can enlighten me????
