Now Mini recommend Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 oil. Its not readily available from anywhere so I did wonder if people though I would be ok sending it in with Castrol Edge FST 0w30 oil instead? Its still a LL04 oil. creedR56 Jun 16th, 2012, 04:15 PM In the 2011 owners manual the approved oils are SAE 0W-40, 0W-30, 5W-40 and 5W-30 Castrol Edge. pukmeister Jun 17th, 2012, 08:32 PM Castrol Edge LL04 oil currently cheap at my local ASDA today at £27 for 4 litres due to it having Euro2012/MotoGP/Olympics ticket promotions on the pack that are about to expire. Nothing wrong with the oil. I bought exactly the same stuff from Costco for £29.98 on Friday then saw it cheaper in ASDA on Saturday.:mad: Gonna buy another bottle anyway at ASDA and keep it in the garage until next service due. | ||
