Gear knobs, that is! I'm after a replacement for a 53-reg MCS, so I'm after some recommendations please. I really like the JCW one in Minisport, but that says its for R55 onwards so I guess it won't fit our little first generation beauty.

So, who's got what and where did you get them please?

Oh, and it must be round like them OEM one - I'm not into those funny shaped things!

There is a JCW carbon fiber one out there. Looks really nice, and I like OE looks. I'll post the link when I find it.

Thanks for the response. Two problems though: I don't like the shape of the JCW gearknob for the R53 (only like the one that fits R55 to R57, unfortunately) and the one thing I can't abide is carbon fibre. Seriously, I hate it with a passion!

Eventually, I got sick of searching, and just ordered a new OEM one and a new gaitor (I wish I'd bought Vaseline to take with me to the Stealers so that I could have lubed up before they inserted the bill though). The gearstick region will look a lot nicer than it currently does, but I had hoped for something a little more interesting. Oh well... :rolleyes:
