My neighbour had Chipsaway to repair a scratch on his HONDA CIVIC rear bumper, it was metallic black, and whilst they got rid of the scratch, you could tell if you knew where to look, the colour match was ok but the paint wasnt quite a glossy, they only do a local repair when ideally the whole bumper should be done.
But it was quick, took the guy about 1 1/2 hours doing it on his drive outside in cold weather, so I expect that had some affect on paint finish and it cost him £60 against around £200 for a bumper respray at the paintshop.
I imagine a plain non metallic colour would be easier and look better with a local repair, but that said I think most colours these days are laquered anyway.
Anyway, I would not use them, take it to Carr's Bodyshop in Exeter and get them to do it properly.
