would anybody know what i could do? i have a mini one and when i bought it, it came with the harman kardon sound system BUT A MINI DISC PLAYER :( its sending me crazy not being able to listen to my own music. iv tried to replace it with two different cd players none of which give any sound out? What do i need to do? what cd players would work with this system ?

I think that you need to buy an ISO interfaces for aftermarket ICE to work with the HK amp and speaker system. It's called an HK Enabler and is found on NewMiniStuff.com website in the "1st gen Mini & cabrio - Interfaces, fitting kits etc" section... (sorry can't post links to other sites)!

Also talk to Mickey the Mini the owner of NewMiniStuff.com, he is a very helpful and knowledgable guy.
