Ok, i posted on here regarding a problem i had. After reading over my post i realised it wasnt accurate to what im actually experiancing! So here we go with a more accurate description!
When setting off in first, if i change gear before 3k rpm and "punch" the accelerator after selecting 2nd im getting a horrrible vibration that can only be heard and not felt. Its quite low pitched. It does this through every gear. If i accelerate smoothly it doesnt happen. Doesnt do it when revved out of gear. It sounds like its coming from the front centre/front left of the car. I dont believe its the clutch or gearbox. Its not a bearing noise either. Could it be the support bearing on the rh driveshaft. Cant be the left one as its new. Once the car gets over 3.5k rpm it stops.
Any ideas? Its driving me mad!
