Can anyone help me please , I am fitting a flashing led to my mini one just to use as a deterrent , is there any live 12v feed when the ignition is switched off? Just to save me having to use a switch and remember to switch it on and off, got everything else ready, led , resistor , cable :)

Just an idea for thought, you could take a feed direct from the battery via a inline fuse through a relay that is open when the ignition is on but closes when its turned off and thus then works the led?

Well i thought i had it easily sorted with a constant live from the light in the glove box but sadly realised that this also gets cut after a certain amount of time  obviously incase you leave the glove box open and drain the battery.
So , does anyone know the easiest way to take a live feed from the battery to the inside cabin? running the cable is not a problem its where to find access?

You dont have to do that connect one side to bat+ and the other to an ignition feed and it will go off when ignition is on and on when ignition is off

ok so i did a quick test , opened up my fuse box and connected one side of my led to the headlights fuse ( always live ) and the other to the windows fuse ( only live when ignition on ) works a treat , with ignition off it flashes , ignition on and no light . Got the idea from replies above so big thanks! :)
Will fit my led tomorrow night.
