Don't think you'll find the cap among fasteners for the roof bow for a convertible top.

I think the cap comes with the outer door weatherstrip (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=51337071669).

Give Thomas or Paul from 1320 Mini - Mini Parts - Mini Performance Parts (http://www.1320.co.uk/default.aspx) a call, they usually have quite an extensive stock of all parts, & they are forum sponsors too :wink:

Probably easier in the end to just go and buy a whole new strip and fit that, they are around £20 for the door window seal, I wouldnt think the end cap is sold as a seperate item, in fact these days its wonder you dont have to buy a whole new door in this throw away society.

Agreed, just quote the part # from the Realoem (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=RE91&mospid=51242&btnr=51_7755&hg=51&fg=10&hl=6)site to your local {or any other} MINI dealer & they'll even post it to you {usually for free}
Ive found my local dealer at Shrewsbury to be very helpful with sending out parts & are often much cheaper on items like this than independents on ebay.

Get the whole trim from your local BMW dealer.

Also some on ebay if you search for 'mini door trim' or 'mini window trim'
