Hi everyone.

I have an 07 Mini One Convertible and I absolutely adore it.... except for the god-forsaken rattles!!!

The roof rattles on occasion (but I can live with that), the top of the dash board on passenger side area has recently started to rattle, there's an unusual sounding rattle coming from the seatbelt mechanism area or the outside wall of the rear seat (I can't locate exactly where) and most annoyingly of all is my driver side rear window rattles from the second I start driving until I stop (I can't drive with my hand holding on to the black plastic strip to stop it).

I have absolutely no idea how to stop the window rattle or the random seat belt/outside wall rattle - can someone help me?

I've read that if I contact the dealer, they can use gummi-pflege, but does this come with a cost to me? If so, roughly how much?

I appreciate any help at all!

Thank you :)

Any idea how old the tires are? I have a buzz here and there but intermittent. During the last several months I had picked up a few rattles. I had a new set of Pirelli P Zero installed and the rattles are gone.

Gummipflege is less than £10 from a dealer, at least it was when I bought it a few years ago. Why not buy and try? It is good for your rubber anyway.

Thanks both - my tyres are Pirelli at the rear and I'm afraid to say a budget make on the front due to purse strings not stretching very far when they needed replaced from the old pirellis :(

Thanks about the gummi-pflege but I'm not at all minded like that and wouldn't know where to put it! Just along the black strip down the rear window?

Sorry - I just saw a pretty yellow mini and had to have it - not sure about the names of all the parts of the body work!

Thank you again :)

Gummipflege can be applied to any rubber seal. Just spray a little onto a cloth and rub over the rubber. Allow it to completely dry before closing the Windows and doors.
