Looking to hook up my amp and sub in my 05 mini S with the HK system in it.
I have seen countless threads on this and maybe I am missing the obviouse here so I want to clarify.
Pull the rear seat
Pull rear panels
Splice in left and right wires from speakers
Run those to line converter.
After that hook everything up like normal

The question comes down to the signal going to the rear speakers are 2ohm. Will that effect the line converters signal to the amp?

Right speaker has solid brown and blue wire. Then a yellow with a red strip and a red with a brown strip

Left side has a blue / grey strip. And a blue / red strip
Then a yellow/grey strip and yellow/blk strip

Which do I hook the line converter up to?

I have looked at countless pages and I am lost

Well, took three days and 4 Forums to get the answer. The yellow twisted pairs on both sides are the tweeter signals. The blue wires on each side are the low side.

So if your hooking up an inline converter pull the passenger side panel off the wall and tap into the amp bundle You will find the twisted pairs easily accessible
