hi all i have just bought my first mini its a 04 and a mini one it had a new gearbox in jan this year and a new clutch oct last year the problem is there is a strange noise when driving it its hard to explain but here goes when you change gears you can hear each gear when its selected and when you accelerate there is a rattle sound which seens to come from the gearbox area is this noise normal or do you think i have a problem :frown:

Is it an 04 pre-facelift with Midland gearbox or 04 post-facelift with Getrag gearbox?
