Hi guys im a new member on here!!! i got my mini cooper jcw a few weeks back,and want to fit a new air filter rather than just replacing the old oem type.
just ordered the itg filter from vecchio
looked at the posts on fitting and looks pretty easy,just wondered about the back electical connector,has ive watched a video on youtube and the guy removed the spring to keep the flap open and said not to reconnect the connector has its not needed has this operates the flap etc
just wondered if this is right,has i dont wanna leave it off if its for some other use
