Hi,
I have a Cooper 2006 (Early 2006)
Recently at slow speed when braking there is a clunk noise coming from the front end. I have had it jacked up and pads, discs, callipers are fine.
The car has done 42000 miles.
When under the car, it sounds like the noise is coming from a box towards the centre and the front.
Forgive me for my ignorance but this is the easiest way i can explain it:
'When turning the front wheel, there is a rod that turns too, this rod/axel goes into a metal case/box, the noise sounds like its coming from there'
Any bodsy got any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sam:)
