so, my mini is being very weird, when im barely on the throttle, it will bog down and spit and sputter a lot. When im on the throttle a lot, everything is fine, also it bogged down earlier and no matter what gear is was in, id give it full throttle and it wouldnt move. When i turn off the car and turn it back on, everything would work fine for a few minutes then act up again. Any help?!

Fuel mixture? electrical connection? water in fuel? Timing? Could be absolutely anything.

it sounds like you have a problem when it goes into closed loop operation
most likely one of the o2 sensors

It was recently throwing a check engine code for an injector pump... any idea if that could be it? Also i was thinking it could maybe have a clogged injector or something like that and all i put is premium 93 octane and the only place i go is shell. Never had any problem with any of my other cars with gas from there but at this point who knows.

You need to know what the actual fault code number was, looking through all the codes I cant see one that says Injector Pump.
Sounds like a fuel delivery fault, could be connected with the fuel pump or the solenoid valve at the injector.
The actual fault code should point you in the right direction though.

p1689 it threw this code. It threw a different code before also and i cant remember that code. The code scanner said something about the injector pump was reading low voltage and something about communication between the ecm

That's a manufacturer specific fault code. Self clearing. no one has found what BMW uses it for. Mine used to throw it regularly (R50 Coop) while running sweet.

So see if you can get the other code, but otherwise the basics to look at are:
- spark plugs (condition / colour etc). Pretty easy to remove and check.
- possibly fuel filter. Heaps of people are having trouble with them lately but a sizeable job to get to??
- possibly fuel pump or a dead/dying injector? Anything is possible.
