Hi,
I have recently purchased a 2004 mini cooper. It currently has the boost cd head unit which i have fitted an aux kit to. However i have now decided i want to get a single din headunit where the screen folds out. I plan to bget the Ripspeed dv740 (look in halfords).

I know how to fit it all but my only concern is that in the mini above the stereo the plastics underneath the speedo stick out quite a bit more than the stereo does. Anyone fitted a headunit like this that can tell me weather the screen folds out correctly or if it hits the plastic?
