Sorry, should have said studs are best for ice and chains best for deep snow (too deep for studs to find ice) and better for ice but not as good as studs.

Good on you for pulling out the Volvo. I'm surprised you were able to pull it out (a much heavier car). Those are good chains you have!

I just posted in the for sale section the link to a set of toyo winter tires I have for sale...they are 215/45-17 and work awsome with the stock MCS wheels or buy a set of cheap lightweight wheels like Kosei racing k1
