Interesting when you write it down how many countries you have visited.

England
Scotland

Ireland
Channel Islands
France
Holland
Belgium
Italy
Vatican City
Spain
Portugal
Austria
Switzerland
Malta
Crete
Greece
Turkey
Germany
Egypt
Kenya

Some of the above many times, I will now have to start a list of places to go and then tick them off.

I like this thread. I find it interesting. I myself have travelled to..
USA 46 out of 50 states.
Canada, every province, including Northwest Territories
Ireland (*) driven in
England
Scotland
Wales
Germany
Greece (*) driven in (quite frightening driving on Crete!)
Bahamas
Mexico

So, that would be 7 counting Scotland, England and Wales as one and not counting USA. I plan on going to France probably next september. Revisiting Canada in June (Nova Scotia, my partner wants to trace his Cajun roots in Acadia) We're also contemplating a trip to Thailand. And I absolutely have to visit my relatives in Adelaide, South Australia at some time. They have been asking me for years to come and visit. Their son just moved to New Zealand recently, it would be nice to stop there to see that as well!

For those of us in Europe it's easier to visit more countries... you don't have to go far to visit 10 :)

Holland
France
Luxembourg
UK
Germany
Poland
Austria
Switzerland
Spain
Bulgaria
Italy

US (Louisiana, Illinois)
Mexico (living)
Guatemala
Brasil (working)
Uruguay (working)
Paraguay (working)
Argentinia (working)
Chile (working)
Bolivia (working)
Peru (working)

The holiday this year will probably be New-Zealand or Canada.

BTW we are all sissies... the big league is the 100-club. This club realy exist and to become a member you have to prove that you have visited 100 countries or more.

I talked to a whacko in Chile who was on his way to antartica cause he could get stamps in his passport from more countries (norway, us, russia, australia, uk etc)there.

Now you See it's easy for EU types you have a whole bunch of countries all Stuck together !
The other end of the scale would be OZ where there are NO countries to drive to ?
SO states should be allowed.
I know a woman who has ( until recently for a Weeding ) never left the State of New Hampshire!

Very impressive list, but just for the record I want to assure you that Alaska and Hawaii are not autonomous run departments of the US, but are rather fully integrated states like any others.

Oh well, if knock off those two, add Fiji and French Caledonia, we will keep at at 100:). What I mean with Alaska and Hawaii is they are suitably far removed from the home country to count. Oh, just remembered Pitcairn, the most remote inhabited island on the planet and Easter Island (Chile). Top marks to the person who guesses how I got to this number of countries. The clue is the countries themselves
