I'm just curious how many people who own Minis travel a lot. I first saw the (original) Mini in Englad while on a trip and fell in love with it, so if I didn't travel, I may not even have one!
In the US, I've been to 44 states, and then I've been to 7 other countries. Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Italy.
(Of course those of you in Britain and Europe have it easier - you're so lucky!:p )

I'm not sure if territories count, but I've been to England, Spain, (almost) Russia, Japan, Korea, Philipines, Guam, Okinawa (Japan, but not really), Canada, Mexico, and the Virgin Islands.

Next adventure is either Peru or Sweden.

Here's a picture of me at Ground Zero in Hiroshima:

AprilWhine, was that USVI or BVI?

I'm off to Tortola soon, but return via St Thomas.

I voted none, but the one I've been in is a BIG one.;)

Maybe I'll have to head north just so I can say 1.

OOPS! My mistake, I thought the question was who has traveled to other countries/territories/states in their MINI/Minis.

Hmmmm, now lets see, there was;
British Columbia
Ontario
Quebec
Japan
Phillipines
Vietnam
Guam
Okinawa
Mexico
Connecticut
Rhode Island
Massachusettes
Vermont
New Hampshire
Maine
New York
New Jersey
Maryland
Deleware
Pennsylvania
Washington D.C.
Virginia
North Carolina
South CArolina
Georgia
Florida
Louisiana
Mississippi
Texas
New Mexico
Arizona
California
Oregon
Wasington
Kansas

Switzerland
Austria
France
Monaco
Iceland
Luxembourg
Israel
Greece
Norway
Bahamas

I took a train through Lichtenstein once, I doubt that counts...I probably forgot somewhere, Its annoying you never get passport stamps these days, or when you do its someplace like Israel that you worry if it'll offend some other country. (Not like having a US passport won't offend people anyway.)
I think I'm doing well for being less then a quarter century old...

I wasent driving, but I can claim to have got to the Central African Republic by road, or at least dirt track (including across the Sahara)

I can also put Lebanaon on my list, although I was only 2 at the time.

Wow! You guys really travel! My theory was right:D

I'd love to talk to some of you about some of the places you've been. My husband and I are starting to plan our next big trip. We plan for a long time in advance - we're talking summer 04. (We hope to come to Englad for a short trip this spring however) So far we are thinking of starting in either Belgium or Germany, and going to Prague and around Bohemian Czech, Budapest Hungary, Austria (Vienna and/or Salzburg and/or Innsbruck) and finishing up in Switzerland. I so loved the Swiss Alps, we stayed in Gimmelwald last time, and I'd love to finish up there this time.
Since we were in western Europe before, these more central somewhat eastern Europe countries will be a new challenge. (Language, food, etc)
We travel on a tight budget, and look for hostels with private rooms, or lower cost pensiones/B&Bs.
If any of you would like to contribute any info on the above places, I would love to hear from you! You can email me at travelingmcmahans@europeanemail.com .
Does anyone have websites about their travel experiences? I'd like to see those too.

I'm quite pleased to see there's a lot of people with more stamps in their passports than me!

If anyone is looking for travel advice, the Thorn tree at Lonely Planet's website is very good. You'll have to endure a lot of rubbish to get decent information but there is genuine help to be found there.

Happy travelling!

I don't want to take it too off topic, so I posted in the site feeback about setting up a home exchange type program. Since we all seem to travel so much, I thought it would be kind of neat if we rented rooms to each other in our homes for holidays on an informal basis. If you have any feeback or suggestions, please go to
