Post here if you live in this region and would like to be contacted for local events. But remember, the best place to find events is your local forum and the MINI2 events calendar.

Edited to add: some forums are more active than others. People signing up may be contacted by a local club if one exists, but MINI organizations are at the beginning right now. I know of only four clubs contacting members from the roll call threads and you may not live in their area.

Sorry to get your hopes up, but if no one has contacted you maybe you should start a local club? :)

I live in Portland and would love to be kept "in the loop" on goings on in the PNW. My MCS is hitting Port Hueneme, CA. today so I will hopfully have it by Valentines day.

A fellow Northwester, and like 10 Ball, my PS/B MC (all packages) hits Port Hueneme today:silver: :silver: :silver: :D :D I, too, hope to have it by Valentines Day, picking up from Rasmussen MINI in Portland. Maybe I'll see you there, 10 Ball- though mine's being fitted w/ a muffler, airfilter, and driver's side parcel shelf, so it may take a little longer to get it ready. Hope it flies through the VPC, waiting is hard:(

fms, glad to hear there's another Portlander waiting just like me. Was your MC on the Hercules Leader? Do you know where you were on the boat? I just heard from another in Seattle that their MCS was on the Hercules Leader and they got a call from their dealer today saying that it was in and ready to pick up. Kinda quick I think and Portland is on the way, wonder what's up. Anyway, send a post when you get yours and let me know how it was at Rasmussen.

Hey, 10 ball. I'm in Eugene, and my MINI was on the Jupiter Diamond, which off loaded today, and according to the 2Wglobal website, has already sailed off for other parts:cool: Now it's just a matter of how long a wait to clear the VPC, and up I-5 to Rasumussen. I'll post when the little tyke arrives.

When you guys pick up your cars from Rasmussen let me know how it goes, I ordered mine from them as well (prod. date of Feb 7th). However I am up in Seattle and have only been in touch by phone. Wondering if they have any cool dealer perks when you pick them up.

How long was it from the time it was awaiting transport to the dealership?

Okay, so I'm feeling guilty. I ordered my MCS the day after Christmas, and I'll pick it up at the end of this month. Of course, then I'll drive it 2000 miles home to the Pacific Northwest. I'm sure it will be a fun trip, even right in the middle of winter.

New here!!, still waiting on a production number!! Will stand by in the mean time. Have 72 TR6 to keep my mind off the long wait. Beautiful ride this morning down to NWMini to get a free cup of java, druel over other folks cars, then a great drive back.

There is a driver training event sponosred by Northwest MINI at Pacific Raceways in Kent coming up on June 3rd. I understand that it has expanded to two days to accommodate those who want to attend. It will be run by Don Kitch of ProFormance, an excellent group of instructors. Get details from Tim at NWMINI.

Sign me up too! I ordered my EB Mini S last April and it was finally built on 6/13. Should be on it's way by now. I'm hoping to get it at the end of July or even in early August! Will definitely be looking forward to going on driving events!

I've actually been on the waiting list for the MCS since Spring of '02 and I finally ordered it this past April! (2003).
