This disgraceful piece of garage was featured in this months REVS magazine in the UK, (marketed free with Maxpower magazine... it is not an April fool or a photoshop job. The young idiot that did it spent 24k. It really is enough to make you puke.... Apparantly, he decided to spend the money that was supposed to put him through University on this instead of getting a proper education/job etc. Sad story really... how can anyone be THAT stupid?!

The kit is an 'Animal' kit marketed buy www.autofashion.co.uk but don't bother with their web site, its well out of date.

If i was gonna put a bodykit on my mini it would be those breyton arches or the OE Areo kit, those mini spares bodykits look ok but, nah id rather have more go than show myself. I think ill save my money and get myself and S with an engine conversion, that sounds much more tempting :D

The rear valance looks like someone has thrown something at the rear of the car and just thought arr F**k it, that will do for a rear bumper!!!:D

I like the new kit from mini mania! its better than the green one featured in revs magazine which i think is a little OTT(just a little!). The mania kit still has the original mini trade marks just bigger wheel arches and different sideskirts which are nice! u can tell its a good piece of kit,good fit, nice and neat.

Not a great lover of that I'm affraid plus even if I did like it the thing would get ripped off on todays UK filed speed bump roads! :o

I've had this conversation with friends and colleagues before... A friend with a heavily customized ride told me his theory. Some might find it offensive, but in context, I found it funny. He said that "Almost every demographic alters or customized their cars, in every part of the world, with the exception of a small core of boring, middle-class, white-bread folk like you, who go: 'Yup, beige 4-door Camry with steel rims and the fancy hubcaps, just the way I like it.'"

Maybe he's right, because in this multicultural city of ours, I look around, and think maybe I am the only one who looks at the car at the dealer, and thinks that it looks best just the way it is.

Anyways, it's all moot now, because I might get daring, and put the chrome grill on my car. Perhaps even the chrome boot handle. Who knows, I'm crazy!

What in the world is Mini Mania thinking?

This abomination makes me seriously question if I could ever trust them for any aftermarket parts (if this is their judgement of what they feel is OK to do to a MINI).

Good God. Somebody has to talk some sense into these guys before we actually see some of these on the street.

This kit turns one of the most beautifully designed cars ever into a laughingstock.

Thanks for the Skyline comments, it was stupidly fast but my insurance renewal put an end to that fun, so I got a Cooper instead...

Mind you I'm thinking of switching to a Cooper S now but unless I got a good deal from my dealer I don't think the wallet would take it! :(
