Tim from NW MINI called to say that there has been such an overwhelming response that they are adding a second day; nobody else is going?

I've got a friend that has already got a spot, he should get his S on monday. I'd like to go but for the price I'd like to abuse their MINI:rolleyes:

How about a drive? Any plans?

Yes, the local club is still active... http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ClubMINI/

We are planning to attend the All City Rally in Olympia on April 27. Check http://66.242.140.135/all_city_rally.htm for rally details. the Yahoo group will have more info on gathering spots, etc.

Thank you for the link again.

I have now tried several times different weeks to sign up, but can't do it. When I scroll down to post title and occupation, there's nothing listed, only weird signs... what's up. It won't let me register without those details. Any ideas?
I'd love to see what is going on in my neighborhood.

Northwest MINI hasn't finalized participant lists yet, but I understand that there will be two days as you said above, because the response has been better than expected.

Don Kitch and his crew will run the program at the track so it will be well done, but the dealership is exclusively handling signups.

Also August 26th, for those of us that hope to have our cars around the end of May. WooHoo!! Might have to come out on the 2nd or 3rd and hang out. Maybe I can work the pits.

NearlyNN, I think that's what I'll do in the mornings until the Driver's Meeting for the afternoon sessions. A good idea, that should prove interesting and fun.

For those thinking about one of these three days, Don Kitch carefully runs a good school staff organization. He will be responsible for the day's structure and instruction.

To start thinking about the track time more vividly, there is a video on their website showing one "instructed lap" (lower right on the homepage) that starts at the downhill entry to Turn 3 in a BMW:

"Many" are going Thursday, and it sounds like nearly full run groups for the Track Days too.

I know of one photographer who is coming to the Track Days to shoot on-track pictures, and it sounds like some people are bringing their ideas and gagets to share. This should be fun.

I want to Thank Don Kitch and his team at ProFormance, as well as Northwest MINI, for providing a super experience. It was fun, and a learning experience on this challenging track.

Hear Hear! What a day! I felt humbled and educated all at the same time. Brilliant staff, really willing
to allow students to develop their own intuitive understanding while giving reasoned and calm feedback.
