Well, the MINI is gone. After reaching the 23 thousand mile mark this week, we traded her in for a Mercedes C230.
Thanks for a great time with a great car, hope to see you all on the track (http://www.martinsportscarclub.com/) sometime soon.

The MINI had twenty-three thousand miles on it and I was pretty much done with it anyways. Don't get me wrong; I loved every minute of it. It was simply time for a change (I do that often).

I'd love to be in the position to change cars that frequently, just for a change.

Did you get a C "Klasse" coupe or a regular C230 sedan?

I personally can't warm up to the cheap look of the C Klasse coupe and the C230 kinda run of the mill. prefer the 3 series or Audi A4's by a greater margin.

My friend has a C230's and its nice, only thing I can't get used to is the fact that the car has to think about accelerating when you push the accelerator, and it felt like you weren't going anywhere...then a couple of seconds later it kicks in..really odd.

The automatic that we test drove was like that, which is why we opted for the 6 speed.
