G'day, I've just finished fitting Alpine Bass Engines to my Mini Cooper. It sounds fantastic with heaps of Bass.
I was thinking of fitting a Sub Woofer but didn't want to loose my boot. They work great so if anyone wants heaps of bass with out losing the boot, give these a try!!!
My amp went in the compartment in the boot. Thanks to who ever posted the photo Great Idea!!

I'm running a Pioneer 2 channel Amp. it's an oldie but a goodie. I connected them to the rear speakers, which are run of the Mini Boost cd player The current range should fit in the rear compartment. There is a lot of room there i've fitted it so the word Pioneer is upright.
I bolted the bass engines to the floor and just touches the seat enough to let the vibrations through the seat.

Hi Brett, this post is ages old, but where did you get em from? I bought a cheap set from Jaycar, and they're about 10w RMS, which is nothing. What rating are yours, and where did they come from.
What power is coming from the amp to power them?
