I might be getting a cooper tonight. Got one picked out.

The SUV backlash is hitting me w/ full force. I'm parting w/ my Durango to get a Cooper!!! I'm 6'7" and have found that I fit very comfortably in it!

I posted a question in the Cooper forum, but can you fit 2 sets of golf clubs in the back w/ the seats down? J/W because my father in law is coming and want to take him out in the Cooper.

I know it sounds goofy, I just want to make sure this is the right decision. I put down a hold deposit last night!!!

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

With the seats down you have 25 cubic feet of cargo space, more than enough for two large golf bags. Now, three people and three bags with one seat folded down would be tough but a twosome is no problem.

I don't live in Naperville but I used to work for a company there (Visual Insights), usually out of their Canadian office but I did take some trips down to Naperville from time to time. IIRC it was a nice, quiet Chicago suburb.

i'm putting the order in for my cooper S tomorrow...doubt i'll sleep tonight. it's my first new car!

i live in chicago obviously. i like naperville but i tend to stay out of the suburbs as much as i can. too quiet!

the dealer from whom i'm purchasing my mini told me that the tallest person they sold one to was 6'7'', so hopefully you'll be golden!

Yeah, It appears that I am golden!!! I took delivery Thursday night and am extremely happy with it. It's a great day today to go motoring!!!
