I read all about the dashmounted Ipaq idea a long time ago anyone got any ideas what is going on with it? I really want SatNav but I also want an Ipaq ao this seems perfect how much longer do I have to wait :confused: ;)

I actually ment the MINI one that they said they were gunna release with all the services ect. but I have been reading up arround the DIY route and figured if I get the stuff off ebay I can do it nice and cheap was planning on picking up an IPAQ 3630.

I really only wana use it for sat nav and basic diary featchures would there be a problem with the 3630?

No, it won't be a problem. I'm using an iPAQ 3635 right now to run Destinator (http://www.destinator1.com) GPS, an MP3 player and to store all my contacts, appointments, etc. It works just fine, with the exception of it having problems when playing MP3's and the GPS software at the same time (the player pauses, and on occasion, the whole thing locks up, but it doesn't do it if I'm only running one or the other program).

And as a side note, I'm replacing my 3635 with a 5455 in the near future. Anyone interested in buying my 3635 can send me a PM. It has been updated to Windows Pocket PC 2002 and the latest firmware revision. It comes with the docking station (USB interface), charger, CF sleeve, a combination sync cable/charger cable (also USB interface) and all the original software.

I got a 3955 brand new unopened off ebay for £260 :)

When you are using your GPS where is the antenna located??
