No mensh of Megane CCs? These seem to be the most popular 'chick cars' around my way.

Gee, I guess the H2 is not like the Humvee, but a prettied up version. I honestly haven't been able to see into the vehicle to see who's driving because of the height and dark tint.

Now come on Gmini there is nothing wrong with the French. They stood shoulder to shoulder with us during WW2 when other countries wouldn't ;)

As far as the US goes, I'm surprised no one mentioned the Mercury Cougar (Late 90's to present). Although recently discontinued, I don't think I've ever seen a guy driving one of these...

With respect to trucks, I'd have to say the Cadillac Escalade - again, I've only seen women (in their 40's or 50's) driving these. Why, I have no idea... :)

I disagree on the Puma I think that was pretty equal between the sexs but the Tigra was 100% a chicks car.
The Nissan Micra is in the running as well.

Come on Bullett, what kind of men have you seen driving Puma's? Where they a bit unthreatening, em?

I agree with the Tigra.

Could also add the Corsa, well the ones that Max Power have yet to get their grubby little hands on.

I don't know how this made your list. This fine specimen of automobile is more commonly known to transport rednecks between bars and trailer parks, often times the driver will be adorning an 80's style haircut, taper-leg extra-tight blue jeans and smoking a Marlbro Red. This particular vehicle can often be seen in the front yard perched atop cinder blocks at the forementioned trailer park.

A chick car, this is not. It's a mullet-mobile, as is a Mustang and any domestic full-sized truck with any sort of lift-kit.

Coming from a guy in VA, you know it's true!! :D :D :D

But here's a pic of an ultimate chick car. This one used to be mine, but now belongs to the hubby, and he's the one who added the wheels:

Ack! Pulled up next to a car identical to that yesterday here in upstate NY. How incredibly disturbing :-)

Interesting article, with interesting facts. He could write a convincing article with the facts he had in hand. Too bad Easterbrook chooses to preach to his left leaning choir with the overuse of adjectives and political overtones.

Alomst every H2 I see is driven by a yupeeish woman or someone trying to immitate a rapper, same with the Cadillac Escalade.

Uggghhh...my wife wants us to get an H2. She'll have to kill me off first:rolleyes:

Your husband added those wheels??? Does he have any friends or is it just you in his life.;) ;) ;) :p :p :p
what was he thinking of, when he adding those wheels.  It would be cute with a chick behind the wheel, but a guy?
Sorry AprilWhine I just don't get it. I am sure that a nice set of alloys and a nice window tint would have been a better way to go.

:D The type car that anyone drives does not make them more or less masculine. If you accept that as a given, then the question becomes, do I want to be smiled at and waved to by women or men? You would not believe how many women want to talk about the cute Daisy wheels on the Yellow Beetle.

I drove a beater pickup truck for ten years, and never had a woman smile at me at a traffic light. And that truck was masculine as hell, hydraulic crane in the back, tool box, dents and a chopped down Mack truck front bumper.

My wife saw a co-worker of mine leaving the parking lot in his baby blue Festiva. "Wow, he must be a real stud" she said. I inquired as to why she felt that way, and she replied, "He is not compensating for anything with that car."

If I wanted to talk to burly men with tattoos at traffic lights, then I would go for the leather Harley Davidson look.

I have the greatest wife in the known world, but I still prefer to chat with women.

Lots of luck to those of you still cruising for studs.:o :o

Guys are not my target. ;) ;) :p  :silk:

Very good point Jim Ray

But women do tend to buy more of a particular type of car then Men do.... but then Men buy certain cars too...:(

ahhhhhhhhhh welllllll

I drive a small Austin Metro which is smaller than a Mini and slightly larger than the original Mini. CoopRaNite is the better half’s car and I get to drive it now and again if I am good :)
My next car will be a 911 if I can afford it and noooooo its not to compensate for anything  its just one of my ambitions to own and maintain a beautiful designed(IMO) car.

well put point ;)

They obviously want to be sure they can get their little darlings to their soccer games, dance lessons, and music school.

Jim Ray,
When I drove one of the work pickup trucks (a 2001 diesel 4x4 Dodge Ram), I had women hit on me.

The problem was, some of their teeth were missing:D

Bonjour, had your eyes added an "s" in there? :D

But the way this goes is that, if you are as good looking as Willy, women will flirt with you no matter what you are driving. And some out there can't get a wink even with a Ferrari Maranello.
