06/09/2003: A great Time expecting! The "Club-Nouvelle-MINI" organises for the second edition the "JNS's Balade" near Maastricht and Liège (Netherlands/Belgium)...

Indeed, Xoura, I hope it'll be funnier than the last time.
It'll be a full day. 2 parts :
1. the morning : "sport driving on a slippery way". THE MORE WE ARE THE LESS WE PAY. That will great :D
- then, a small lunch (for those who are still ready after the sport driving :p )

2. rally in the province of Liege (slowly and carefully, of course, we are on opened roads).

The meeting point will be at the BMW-Mini garage Genet S.A., Avenue des Courtils 2 4684 Haccourt

For the Netherlands and a part of Germany :
Follow the motorway Maastricht - Liège (E25) until the Hermalle-sous-Argenteau exit.
Cross the bridge on the river Meuse and ride through the crossroads.
Cross the bridge on the Albert canal and take the first right in the roundabout (direction Haccourt).
More than 1 kilometer further, you'll a another croosroads, just follow the main road.
The garage is on the right side a hundred meters away.

For France, Luxemburg, an other part of Germany and Belgium :
Follow the motorway Liège - Maastricht (E25) until the Hermalle-sous-Argenteau exit.
Then, it's the same.

for those who were in Ddorf last Week-end, we will organise the same kind of "challenge"... So, do not hesitate, It's gonna be a Great event!!!:D :D :D :D

We are looking for a hotel near the meeting point, hold the line... :wink:

I can already raise some details of this day: if you are coming from France, Holland of Germany, you can arrive Friday evening at the hotel, so that everyone is at the Meeting point at 9 O'Clock, saturday morning... Coffee and cake, in order to begin the day well...

The Day is based on the "SAFETY and the MAITRISE OF HIS VEHICULE"...

For this reason, 2 groups will be formed:

1) Pilots, for 25€, will take part in one Morning of Slips on a training ground: Slalom, wet road.... It IS a COMPLETE LESSON OF DRIVING WHICH WILL BE PROPOSES TO YOU BY A BELGIAN CHAMPION OF RALLY. YOU WILL BE DRIVING CARS OF THE SCHOOL... AND IF YOU ARE DOING WELL,YOU'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE A SLALOM WITH YOUR OWN MINI... 25€, this is 1/4 OF The NORMAL TARIFF, DON'T MISS IT!!! :D :D :D

2) Tourists, for 10€, will take part in a Balade in the area, in convoys while the Sportsmen are on the circuit.

The 2 groups will be togheter for the LunchTime(possibilities of eating sandwich, Mc DO,...).

Departure for the Roadbook at about 2 O' Clock, With new 2 groups:

1) the Pilotes/co-pilots who'll leave every 2 or 3 minutes for a race regularity, timed, with CP (Check Point). Caution: it is not a race speed, the time of reference having been established in the pure respect of the speed limits...

2) the Stand-Alone, without copilot, which will follow Roadbook in convoys, in order not to lose itself. At the end of the roadbook, everyone is found around glass of the friendship near the Hotel! :P
The majority among us will remain dinner on the spot... Evening Disco music!!! (to be confirmed)

Not need to drive, you are near the hotel.... you can benefit from it... :lol: :D 8)

For informations, we'll end the Mini trip at the Hotel-Restaurant "Le Mosa" in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau. It's a quiet and beautiful place and it has 9 free rooms for this weekend.

But the morning at the driving school, we'll pilot their cars (Fiat and Alfa Romeo) and, only if they find you "strong enough", you'll be able to drive few laps with your own car. So, it's opened to everybody, both pilots and co-pilots.
