Since we had such a good time last year, I think it's time to start planning this year's get-together.

We ought to be able to have alot more tailgaters this time with all the new owners in the last year. The Brewers haven't really improved any since last season but getting together with other MINI lovers is the real reason to party anyhow.

Last year we did a Sunday afternoon game. There are two Sunday home games in August.
August 10th (Paul Molitor Bobblehead Doll Day)
August 24th (Mini Sausage Racers Bobblehead Dolls)

There are also some Friday night and Saturday night games if that would work better. Let's here from all you Milwaukee area (and beyond) MINI2ers.

The Chicago Mini Motoring club is doing a drive, tailgate party, and Brewers vs Cubs game, Sunday Sept 7th to Miller Park.
Check our listing at www.bridger.us/mini for all the details. We have all the pieces in place, and have an open invite out to all the Milwaukee and Madison MINIs to join us. We currently have a large block of seats reserved at $12.00 each for MINI people, and the tickets are going fast. Some Milwaukee MINIs have already bought tickets thru us.
My suggestion is to combine what we have going, and what you want to do, into the September 7th event. We plan to meet with the Milw and Madison MINIs at International Auto and drive into Miller Park together for our tailgate party.
We would really like to make this an annual event to combine all the Wisconsin & Ilinois MINIs.
This event is posted on both the Madison Mini Group and Milwaukee's Britishautowerks.com web sites.

That sounds like a great idea. I'm sure you'll get plenty of Milwaukee and Madison area participatants. It will be extra fun with the Brewer-Cubs rivalry.

I'm quite bummed that I won't be able to go since that day is also the first Packers home game of the season. We always have a party for neighbors and friends. Since this game will be the Packers-Vikings, our one set of Viking fan neighbors would be mad if they didn't get the opportunity to show up at our house in their braids blowing one of those obnoxious horns. At that moment I'll really be wishing I was with you guys instead.

Have a great time !!
