What are your guy's thoughts on a weekend run to Las Vegas?

* Different cities can coordinate their own group drive to and from Vegas.
* Spending one or two nights in Las Vegas.
* Making some group fun runs around some twisty Nevada roads.
* Group dinner and lunches.
* impromptu MINI parades up and down the strip

I was thinking mid-October for a time frame.

Comments? Interest?

Personally I love it, although the scheduling problems would probably be enormous.

So far the most interest I've got for this is over on the OL. They are leaning towards a November date.

OK, here's the poop. I think it'd be easiest to try to organize this in one place. I'll be asking the Mod's on MCO and on MINI2 to lock down the threads on this in each of those two places.

We all can coordinate on the Owner's Lounge in Message Boards / The Joy of Motoring / Getting to Know Fellow Owners / Your thoughts on a weekend run to Las Vegas? That way everyone gets to see everyone else's comments on the subject. Cool?
