Just ordered my plate last week. Lead time is almost as bad as waitng on my MCS. 6-8 weeks. ZIGZAG N was already taken. I considered a few more.

As far as offending someone, no matter what you say, no matter what you do today, it seems someone out there will be offended. Get over it!

I considered several different ones (like 03 COOPR),
but most of the obvious ones are taken by now, like 'LTS MOTR', 'LETS MTR', 'COOPER',
and then I thought of this one- its simple enough, a little catchy, and I think the letters look cool together.
It was only about $6.80 extra to get it (they pro-rate) and do-able online,
which is good since Virginia's DMV has been over the top recently with as much as 3-5 hour waits :rolleyes:

My plate is S-COOPAH

Well I just found that in Masschussetts it takes 12 to 14 weeks so I wont be getting mine until early sept. but it will be MRBEAN (it's after the Mr Bean character who always drives a mini).

12-14 WEEKS?

Come across the border to NH - I had my real plates 10 days after ordering...

I am in the same boat, 12-14 weeks in MA. So let me get this right, it takes less time to build and ship across an ocean and clear customs and ship to my dealer my new MCS than it takes for a prison inmate to stamp out one plate and mail it to a local registry branch. Geez.

We are LTZ MTR. For some reason, the "Z" really throws people, and they spend waaaay too much time trying to make it things like "lots of motor" and other weird things (which makes no more sense than "Let's Motor", but what do I know?!?). Oh, well, they don't have MINI's, I guess it's not natural to them!
