good god thats gonna be a long day with for you guys!!!! ;) :D

Tell me about it. Ten hours travelling (in the middle of the night, for me) then off and running at touchdown. Playing around in London, lunch with Anand & Jags, off to the hotel, more partying Saturday night..... :o Hope I can keep my eyes open at the run. :(

<------- got to get a nap in there somewhere, doncha think? Hehe. ;)

Right, just got back from checking out the route we didn't get to do last weekend :)

Got frigging lost for quite a while driving up and down this road trying to find this road that Soggy had put down. What's happened is some joker has twisted the sign around so all the directons are wrong   :(
The sign is correct, but just in case I've put down both sign directions down :p

****SERIOUS POINT NOW***

For all of those coming on the run I can not stress how important it is to stick to the speed limits and be extremely carefully on the country roads.
Again it's another beautiful day today and there were many cyclists, ramblers and horses sp please, please, PLEASE take extreme care and respect other road users :)

Changing cash at the airport, at least over here is the most expensive way of doing it Ruthie.......bring a small amount of cash, and use your credit card for the bigger expenses, best way to handle things ............;)

maybe you know a few people that are going on holiday to the states soon, that might be interesting in changing a few of their UK pounds to US dollars, giving both concerned a better deal;):p

Ruthie, use your ATM card in a teller machine, you get Pounds at the best rate. Since you're being picked up, you won't need to tip the driver, so should have time to get some cash.
