Things aren't looking good for me, trying to contact my driver but no reply.

Looks like I'm meeting you guys at the factory then :(

With any luck I can grab a lift from there.

You mean Redun?

No, he's my driver for Cotswolds although he has very sweetly offered to drive me round if I can get to the start.

Any chance anyone will take me to the start point and back home after? I think it's somehow unlikely.

I really don't want to pull out :(

Ok, so who's going to do this for The Pentagon at Chilterns this year? :D

Don't worry Elf, there will be loads of lifts on the day - I'm sure someone will pipe up on this thread in no time.

I'm scrounging a lift myself as usual, it won't be hard to get a lift I'd say.....;)

I am a bit worried about the gaze of all those guys looking straight at the camera (and past the distraction)! Makes me wonder who's team they are on!

I'd say I'd do it Aiden, but not quite got the guts.

Can't you get your parents to give you a lift to the start point and then you can ride with Redun. ;)

It's a bit out of the way, they're driving up, I'd be coming down.

I'd rather get a life from someone going in that direction already if it's possible.

Start a new thread requesting a lift and I'm sure they'll be so many offers it'll be hard to choose who to go with :)
You'll get a larger audience that way ;)

Was thinking of that. Where's best? My home of OT&B or here?

Never ever pull out without indicating!. People tell me I'm a great planner and organiser, so I'm planning and organising a way for Elfie to go to the Chilterns.
Theres a few days left, so something can be done.

Early weather forcast for Chilterns:

At the moment it looks like it will be cold with wintery showers. There's a good chance of frost and icy patches early on but there should be some sunshine. At this early stage there is about a 50% confidence in this forcast but it's better than nothing. Here is a chart for the day if anyone is interested.

Thanks soggy. And just to show how unreliable long range forcast can be, here is a chart from the same computer for the same day but was run 6 hours later than the one above. :(

This one suggests it will be dull, cool and wet. Probably won't get a good handle on this until Sunday/Monday.
