Its a spelling mistake, should read EXPENSE:bad:

Irish bars in England have things like old bicycles on the ceiling, and stuff around the walls advertising 'old Irish products' that probably never existed.
Irsih bars in Ireland are there for drinking, conversation, company, more drinking, more conversation, quiet contemplation, making new freinds, fighting new friends, making up over a pint ,oh and any vegetables, stamps, coal, cigarettes, petrol or groceries you might need as well.
Irish publicans make money , but dont understand how. Owners of Irish bars in England are only there to make money, if Guatamalan bars were popular , then all the English Irish bars would be converted tomorrow.

Hmmm wonder what a Guatamalan bar is like?

I think you summed it up nicely there Goon!;):D

Thanks Martin! That's exactly the kind of advice we need!

Any south coasters here, willing to lead some poor lost furriners to Wycombe? :)
This is now sorted, the furriners will get MINI escort from somewhere in Hampshire to somewhere in Buckinghamshire via somewhere in Oxfordshire via A34 to link with A40/M40. (they will be learning how to drive on the right side of the car, while changing gear with the left hand, and not filtering to right at stop lights etc on route. ).
Anyone heading up from the 'southern states of UK' on Saturday afternoon who wants to join up, please PM me.

Bob,
Any news on that spare passenger seat? Otherwise I'll have to inflict my Escort diesel van on you all. :D

After teaching pigs to fly, teaching Murkins to drive in the UK should be a cinch. ;)

How many people are staying at the High Wycombe Hotel?

:(

I'll definitely be staying overnight.
MINI will be with me. :black:
Joel will (almost) definitely be there.
Daiboi may very well stay if he can get down from York (he's in uni - any offers of a lift?).
Mini :green: might turn up if daiboi can get home to Wales in time to drive it up to HW.
Mrs F. and Lauren almost certainly won't be staying - going shopping in London?.
Looks like its a male/female split in the family.

Joel's only 14 so we won't be able to go to any external pubs or Spearmint Rhino !!!
We had a great time in TGIF and the hotel bar last year, so we'll be there again.
Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again.

Four weeks to go 103 cars registered :D :D :D :D
Starting to get excited about this one.

Everybody please be warned that if it's a clear day there will be many ramblers and cyclists about so extreme caution must be taken.

I am staying overnight at the hotel, with the intention to go out Saturday evening :)

I believe AprilWhine, Aiden, Mad Brummie (previously known as BRG MC) are definitely staying overnight at the hotel.
