Well, first post-event post anyway...! ;)
While the majority are still eating and drinking the night away, those of us who snuck off early are working on the digital archive. :)
Here's a quick photo-merge panorama I did of the group at Alysons Orchard.

Thanks to Rick and John for organizing.
Thanks to Ian and Jared for our little Italian Job ride home..!

See you all again soon.

Gavin - what a great picture! I can't see the joins at all.
Thanks for leading me home too - although I thought I was taken out on that route 2 rotary when the guy on the other lane cut into me :(

Laid down 336 miles total, and my low fuel light clicked on just as I got home - the OBC is claiming 35.6! but we know how accurate that is ...

Now I need to sift through my pics - but I won't have any as good as that one.

I hope all those others enjoy their music / food - they should be just sitting down to order about now. I had leftover pizza ...

What? No way, you were totally gonna get taken out when we got onto 95. The rotary wasn't as close a call as that was I don't think! I can't wait to see everyone's pics.

Sorry I bailed on the evening festivities but I think I am going to go to bed now.

Thanks Ian..! If you look closely, you can see some odd shaped cars and smeared joins, but the Canon software does a pretty good job.
The video is downloading into my computer as we speak, so that will hopefully get edited fairly soon.

From where I was ... I was expecting that guy on 95 to pull out like he did, where I was not expecting that guy on the rotary to cut in - but you would have had a bad view of either if they had got much closer. Lucky me :)

Now I am going to be very very bad ... and for those who claim I only take pics of GBMINI, notice that these two pics have NO MINIs at all!

On the other hand - a couple of people might wish they were of MINIs ;)

I guess John might say "not enough vodka"?

But then maybe John had too much?

Even when they "look good" there's still a lot to be desired.....

Overall a nice day. I want to thank Actual for all of his hard work and effort to make this such a success. It's my understanding that John was napping throughout the bulk of the planning.

Yeah - this morning as we headed out in Margarets new motor, I saw them on the front of the MINI. They actually look rather cute so they might stay on for a while :)
Maybe they will make the local kids think twice about nicking my valve caps again ...

Can't seem to get my normal .mac homepages to accept photos at the moment, so here's a temporary version via some free weblog software they provide...

Ahhh...all napped up.

Thanks to everyone attending for making the first MAMA event such a rousing success.

I'm in the process of collecting photos for the MAMA Gallery which will be up soon on our website. One guess who the headliners will be....

Great to see you made it! How'd you like Rte37 twisties? Worth it even in the wet, aye? Thanks again for the ride!

Let's great a thread endorsing mandatory driver education. Unnecessary highway braking, rubbernecking, illegal use of the left lane, improper use of foglights, wiper-headlight infractions and other such enforcables. :D

Are all those "qualities" in reference to G3's driving ability?

Here's one from early Sat. when pezboy and I were giving the Massachusetts back roads a thrash. Out of that mist came a 1964 Ford Fairlane w/ about a 24" lift kit, 4 wheel drive, huge monster truck tires and dual exhausts pounding the crescendo of a massive v-8. It was a Twilight Zone moment.

And here's one of my buddy poisoning a young mind. Beer and Mrs. Murphy's at 10 a.m.! The old boy needs driving gloves to grasp his donut.

how many frickin pics we got of that "buddy" posing in front of his open boot? Getting to rival the MOT sunset pic.

Nah. The list of infractions was a G3 inspiration - based on his griping about drivers on the way down.

sorry to interupt but Steve (pincity) you have a PM

G- I always gripe about other drivers even when no one is in the passenger seat to hear me :D

For Safari users (I promise not to get technical here), the gallery will work great.

For Mozilla users, it almost works great (the pictures work right, but no captions for some reason... I'll work on that)

For IE/Mac OS X users, the gallery works pretty good, same as Mozilla plus some wierdness when the photos change from "horizontal" to "vertical" - a window resize seems to make it go away.

For IE/Windows users, sorry, but your browser sucks :) I mean, the gallery should work "okay".
