(Here's Jeffrey, locking his front door)
I like it as much as I like Mimes. Did I mention I HATE Mimes?
Acronyms for your exclusive MINI Club will be forth coming from all other outraged parties.

BM (Baker's MINIs) NHRef Sep 27th, 2003, 02:40 AM 'evening, All,
I'll be attending the BMW Advanced Driving School at NHIS on the 11th but live near enough to Peterborough to meet folks in the evening. Are there any events planned that night? Rynborn?
Also, I submitted my application to MAMA several weeks ago but didn't receive the membership package I've seen mentioned. Do I owe some dues?
Play On! (see my plate in the "Letters" section of this month's Roundel)

I didn't realize you knew the area well. Is it too late to change my mind again and meet up with you for the drive to Keeneland? My car loved the low 60 degree temps this evening...if you know the roads are fun I don't mind ditching my local neighbors to meet up with you out west somewhere. That is of course if you will let me. The ass kicking in the parking lot will still be ON no matter what!! Don't miss it. jcsinnh Sep 27th, 2003, 02:33 PM Ref- a bunch of us will be going to The Rynborn @ Colony Mill Saturday PM for dinner (late) and the Porch Rockers, a blues band from Beantown. Also the strong potential of a surprise performance but I hesitate to jinx it by a description.
Ian (hey was that a double space?) how about:
*getting a MINI tattoo from Mom's on Roxbury St. in Keene
* going to Fred's Auction, the cheapest and most fun entertainment in Keene on a Saturday evening
* I know a Sandhurst graduate with what is reputed to be one of the finest collections of BE military uniforms in the world. He can turn you into a Beefeater
* You can officiate at the Fisticuffs of the Toughs, in this corner-weighing 6 stone at best.....pezboy. In that corner, slipping a roll of our quarters in his glove and weighing 87 proof, CapeCodpiece Steve
More ideas as needed. pezboy Sep 27th, 2003, 03:09 PM Cool, Mike Welch is playing at the Rynborn in December...I went to highschool with him, notice he has a $10 cover charge!! He's a bigshot now I guess.
Roll of quarters? I'll hit him where it'll hurt him most, his liver. =) jcsinnh Sep 27th, 2003, 03:16 PM School with Monster Mike??? WOW, I am impressed, truly. I think the liver is gone, along with the brain. Please aim for the mouth...please.
Ian - how about I set you up with a cornfield maze? Or new store in Keene with very good temporary tattoos? Or a great used CD store? pezboy Sep 27th, 2003, 03:37 PM Well...I was a freshman and he was a senior in highschool and he graduated in January. He was in my music theory class though. Good guitarist but at that time was arrogant as hell, he thought he was way too good to be in that class. I saw him play at the House of Blues in Harvard Sq. back when he was a "monster." He used to be fat and had long hair, Ackroyd gave him the "monster" nickname. Now he is cleancut as anything! He was awesome for his age when he was younger but now he's probably on par with others his age.
I like used CDs. Anyway, if all goes as planned, everything will probably take longer than it should(judging by John's cd contest winners at MOT.) So it probably will really end at like 6 so there's only a few hours to kill then. Cape Cod MINI Sep 27th, 2003, 04:19 PM Steve,
Is it too late to change my mind again and meet up with you for the drive to Keeneland?.
Hmmpphh. I'll think about it.

Good one!! Heehee:p GadgetGav Sep 27th, 2003, 04:43 PM Hmmmpphh, that Pezboy is so fickle isn't he..!
Who is this monster mike anyway...? Is that why you're not coming with the Brits now pez - we don't know the local bands..? pezboy Sep 27th, 2003, 05:51 PM Naahh...
He is a kickass blues guitarist. Grew up here in Lextown.
Well, if I ride with Steve I can possibly run him off the road and save John the trouble. It'd be a shame to lose them both. Two old guys is one too many for this group, but none is not enough. I made a bunch of guys and girls who work for me do the same type of thing and wear it all weekend in and out of work. If they did then I gave them a few shirts and worked for them while they took the day off. One guy had one half of a beard shved off and the other side had the moustache off. Another had one eyebrow off with the opposite side of his head shaved. The girl....well put it to your imagination...no I didn't check neither I took her word for it. the next day the rest of the guys told me it was true.....go figure.
