Hello Guys,

My Babe (the Cooper that is) has gone in for her 1st oil change service at Stephen James in North London today. Apart from the service itself I'm having a few rattles, a slight misalignment of the front bumper and the odd difficulty engaging gear looked at.

Is there anything else you guys recommend having done?

Also, I've trusted their collection and delivery service, was this a bad idea on my side?

Regards,
Riccardo

I'm interested in this- my baby's going in for his first service in a couple of weeks, and having a load of rattles looked at. what else should we be looking for?

No advice? Is this because:

a) everybody here owns practically new MINIs which are far away from the 10k oil change
b) people haven't bothered to reply?
c) there is actually nothing extra which needs doing

A. can't advise on pick up service as thats something that isn't done in the US
B. make sure you mention anything thats been bothering you because your next scheduled service after that one won't be for another 15,000 miles.

For the record, its taking them 3 days to get the service done!

Well, its not the actual service, but apparently in order to fix one of the squeaks they need to remove half the interior thus the delay...
