I am mounting my Valentine 1 on the headliner next to the rearview mirror of my MCS. I want to pick up 12 volts from the clock. Does anyone know how to remove the clock without breaking anything? Also, what is that little vent looking thing just aft of the clock?

Someone else may be able to give you a better answer but I recall my Owners Manual telling me how to remove the clock. You see, to manually close the sunroof (malfuction, no power, etc) with an allen wrench, you have to access the area behind by the clock. Even if you dont have the sunroof, I would imagine the clock fits in the headliner the same and therefore will come out the same.

Unfortunately, I don't have my owner's manual handy. If you dont find the info in yours, let me know and I can have a look when I get home. Mine is a 2004 but I don't believe their have been any changes to the clock.
