Howdy. I have just gotten my MINI. Great car, but you guys know
that. ;O)
Anyway, I have a question. The tachometer has lights around the
edges every 1000 RPM for most of the range, then every 250 RPM from
5500 to red line. The ones on the far right, at red line, glow red
of course. The others come on when you turn the headlights on,
except for one exception--the 250 RPM ticks between 5500 and red
line.
Are these supposed to come on in any situation? I was hoping for
something cool like them lighting up as the needle approaches red
line, but mine have never come on. They look like lights, but are
they just there to look like lights and blend in but not function?
