Calling all of our USA Users.....

I'm busy planning a little business trip to the US for mid-March......I'm currently thinking of adding a pair of OEM front spotlights to my MCS, and was wondering whether the favourable exchange rate would work in my favour or not.

Can anyone confirm the price for a pair of front spotlights as supplied, ie not fitted to the car, in US$.......thanx in advance....???

I did look at miniusa.com......I take it $400 OEM = Factory fitted...?....anyone with a price for part supply only.....ie without fitting....as I'd bring them back to the UK and fit them myself....!!!

Classic MINI (I think it was classic MINI) quoted me $107 each for the spotlamps, but that is without the wiring and switch. The $400 is the MINI retail price for the kit, but that isn't fitted. I think there are dealers like Classic that give 20% off parts, so that would work out to $320.

How does that compare to what you can get them for?

Well from feedback on the thread I've posted in GD....it looks like the parts are cheaper here in the UK.

Just a thought.......for the same amount of money as you spend for the MINI lights you can buy yourself a set of real quality ones.........and probably have some money left over. :)
