My MCS has finally popped up on the WW site!! Its booked onto a ship called "Boheme" leaving Southhampton on Friday 30/4/04.
Does anybody know the Oceanwatch.com call sign for this ship? or any other way of tracking this ship to Australia?
Cheers!!

Excellent ... welcome aboard Spottydog. ;) :) :D

WW says Sirius Leader has sailed but still shows my car as booked for SL and received but not loaded. :(
Scary: Searching by booking number says there's no such booking number.

Next ship is Maersk Wave 29 April.

I guess the next couple of days will tell...

D'oh!

Looks like you just missed the loading :(

I was so lucky reading all these other stories. Mine arrived at the dock the same day the ship arrived, was loaded the same day, and the boat left the same day!!! Clockwork :D :D

Due in to Sydney port 26th May.

Hi All,
Just an FYI, For all of us sailing on the Maersk Teal scheduled for docking in NY on the 28th it is currently running a day late. It is now due in on the 29th. Bummer, but better slow and safe than fast and broken.

Wow, that's lucky. Mine arrived the day the last ship sailed, missed it and sat for a week. Now at least another two days, I guess. Humphh.

I know! I entered VIN into WW the day before. Nothing. Entered it the next afternoon, and it was on the boat to Oz! Pretty exciting stuff :D

A little unlucky shane, but at least your boat has a lot shorter distance to travel! What is it, like 10-12 days or something to you? :D

Its at least 5 weeks to Oz, and thats if you get a pretty direct route!

Does the Boheme sail into Brisbane Spotty?

Otherwise it'd take more than 2 days to clear customs in Sydney ... that'd be cool if it does sail to Brisbane, you could watch it come off the boat.

Hmm, I wonder why she won't sail into Canberra for me! :D

For those of you booked on the Aida, leaving today for NYNY, it looks like she started boarding after 12 noon BST, and as of a few moments ago, 28 of the 245 booked MINIs have been loaded.

Unfortunately, my has not been one of them yet, but I'm still hopeful. Since this boat is due to go on to NC and, if I recall LA, then I must assume that the cars for those ports get loaded on first, and NYNY cars board last.

At least that is what I hope.

Thanks Tridome,

Are we the only 2 people on mini2 and the Maersk Teal of the 129 minis on this voyage?

Must be up to 127 lurkers out there.

By the way is your anticpated delivery date on the owners lounge May 5th?

For everyone interested in today's sailing of AIDA to NYC: She's at sea with 239 of the 245 Mini's booked on that voyage. (Oh those poor 6 future owners!) Lucky me, my CR/W is onboard!!!!! :-)

Oh - I also got an email from Mini today (with a tag from my dealer) asking me about some of the memory options they can program. Nice to see they're actively seeking this info. Also giving a CD - choice of "The Early Years 1959 - 1969", "Rual Soundscape", "Urban Soundscape" or "MINI and the Monkees". (It's got to be the Monkees!) They'll even pre-program 6 radio stations for me.

Now the question is - - with that many cars coming off the boat at once, how long will they be stuck at "Ellis Island"?

I just got off the phone with my MA and my MCS has arrived! "woohoo!!!" I can pick up tomorrow eve or Saturday morning. Yipppeeeee..

So.. for all you guys here's the timeline:

3/6 ordered
4/1 started production
4/5 ended production
4/6 loaded on vessel
4/22 arrived at port
4/26 arrived at VPC
4/29 arrived at dealer

Not bad... 8 weeks total. That's for an east coast port (U.S.) Texas delivery
